S.C.E.N.E. Films
These short films were created by Portland youth for the Students Creating
Entertainment for Neighborhood Empowerment, or SCENE, project in summer 2010.
Each film has a different youth-developed format, and they all seek a common goal: to show youth and
their communities that using drugs and alcohol is bad. To learn more about the history of OP’s
programming that combines drug-prevention education, team-building skills and
community service with the art of filmmaking, please

displayed here without comment to leave the viewer open to their own interpretations of each work.
If you would like more information about the project, please contact Community Outreach Coordinator
Angela Moran-Hinsely.
