Methamphetamine Prevention Community Action Guide 

Now that your community is aware of the scope of the meth problem, what can you do about it? The Community Action Guide, which accompanies the training PowerPoint, shows you, step by step, how to mobilize your community to fight back against meth production and meth users. The guide will assist you to find meth treatment for a friend or loved one suffering from addiction. It also provides guidance for employers addressing substance abuse in the workplace. You will learn how to form a community coalition and how to engage your neighbors in the fight against meth, as well meth laws and how to deal with authorities to get help when you suspect a meth lab or other problem in your neighborhood. Finally, it shows you how to effectively work with the news media to gain community support, and provides additional resources to help further organize your response.
