Media and Communications

From our very beginnings more than 17 years ago, Oregon Partnership has realized the value and importance of media partnerships.  As a non-profit, we don’t have the resources to do effective media campaigns without support from our media partners, and these media partners have been terrific in stepping up and donating of their valuable time and talents to help us build public awareness of the dangers of drug abuse.  In just the past two years, we have coordinated a major, statewide public awareness campaign on meth; and we are have launched a statewide public awareness campaign on the dangers of underage drinking.

We also work with coalitions throughout the state to help them build effective media strategies and relationships, and, as often as we can, we share our resources with local coalitions so that they can be even more effective in their communities.
